Digital PR – Grishma Singh (Life and Mindset Coach )

Grishma

1. What inspired you to explore coaching or training, and what does this journey mean to you personally at this stage of your life?

I was inspired to explore coaching and training to become more self-aware of my beliefs and values. I realised that understanding myself deeply is essential before making meaningful future plans. My interest in NLP and ICF coaching comes from the desire to think consciously about my personal and professional direction rather than moving through life on autopilot.
At this stage of my life, this journey feels purposeful. I am confident it will help me gain clarity, knowledge, and a deeper understanding of myself, enabling me to make better choices and grow into a more balanced and intentional person.

2. How do you currently define yourself—as a professional, a learner, and a future coach or trainer?

At present, I define myself primarily as a professional coach guiding contestants in pageant shows and supporting them through their personal and performance journeys. This role has helped me become more resourceful, empathetic, and effective in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, while continuously refining my coaching approach.
As a learner, I see myself growing every day. I actively learn from Sir Vikram through his blog posts, class reflections, and group discussions, which consistently deepen my understanding and broaden my perspective.
Looking ahead, I aspire to expand my impact by becoming a certified coach and trainer, integrating my current experience with structured coaching methodologies to empower others in their growth journeys.

3. What beliefs or mindset shifts have most influenced your decision to step into the coaching or training space?

One big mindset shift for me was understanding that real growth starts with self-awareness. Earlier, I focused more on results and expectations, but through my personal experiences, I realized the importance of knowing my own beliefs, values, and thinking patterns.
Another important change was moving from feeling that I must have all the answers to trusting that people already have answers within them. I learned that my role is not to fix or advise, but to listen, support, and guide them with the right questions.
These simple but powerful shifts helped me step into the coaching and training space with more clarity, confidence, and a genuine desire to help others grow.

4. When you think about your future as a coach or trainer, what kind of impact do you want to create, even if it still feels evolving?

When I think about my future as a coach or trainer, I want to create a space where people feel safe to explore themselves and truly understand who they are. I believe each person has their own mindset, strengths, and inner wisdom.
My goal is to help people realize that the answers they are looking for already exist within them. Through the right questions and supportive conversations, I want to help them tap into that inner clarity, gain confidence, and make decisions that feel right for their own lives and journeys.

5 .What does “success” mean to you right now, beyond money or titles?

Right now, success means having peace of mind and feeling truly satisfied with myself and my choices. It’s about living in alignment with my values, growing every day, and knowing that I’m making a positive difference in my life and in the lives of others. True success is feeling content, balanced, and at peace with who I am.

6. How aware are you of your own strengths, blind spots, and growth areas as a beginner in this profession?

As a beginner, I am very aware of my strengths, blind spots, and growth areas. My key strength is my strong learning mindset—I am open to feedback, reflective, and eager to develop new skills. I recognize that my blind spots come from limited practical experience, which I actively address by asking questions, observing others, and applying what I learn. My main growth areas include building confidence through practice and deepening my understanding of core competencies. This awareness helps me take responsibility for my learning and continuously improve.

7. What inner challenges-such as self-doubt, confidence, or consistency-are you consciously working on?

One of the main inner challenges I am consciously working on is building my confidence, especially as I continue learning and applying new concepts. I am also working on gaining clarity in areas such as Neuro-Linguistic Programming and developing a better ability to read and understand others. I approach this with a curious mindset, regularly reflecting on my learning and practicing consistency. Being aware of these challenges motivates me to stay committed to my growth and actively work on improving them.

8.How do you currently invest in your own learning, self-development, and skill building?

I invest in my learning and self-development by being very intentional about my growth. I am currently engaged in coaching and Neuro-Linguistic Programming courses, focusing not only on theory but also on self-awareness and real-life application. I am also an active part of the Toastmasters community, which helps me continuously improve my communication, leadership, and listening skills while staying updated through practical learning. I regularly reflect on my experiences, practice new skills, and welcome feedback as a key part of my growth. This ongoing commitment supports my clarity, confidence, and consistency in my personal and professional development.

9. What values or principles do you want your coaching or training practice to be known for in the long run?

In the long run, I want my coaching and training practice to be known for integrity, empathy, and continuous learning. I value creating a safe and respectful space where individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their potential. I believe in approaching every interaction with curiosity, openness, and non-judgment, while encouraging self-awareness and personal responsibility. Above all, I want my work to support sustainable growth by helping people gain clarity, build confidence, and create meaningful change in their personal and professional lives.

10. How do you see your personal identity evolving as you grow from a learner into a professional coach or trainer?

I see my personal identity evolving through continuous growth and learning as I develop into a professional coach or trainer. As I gain experience, I envision myself becoming more confident, grounded, and purposeful in my field of expertise. I aim to integrate my learning with practical application, while staying humble, curious, and open to feedback. Over time, I see myself growing into a coach who inspires trust, supports meaningful transformation, and contributes positively to the growth and prosperity of others.

11. What does integrity and ethical practice mean to you, especially as someone just entering this field?

To me, integrity and ethical practice mean being honest, transparent, and responsible in my work, especially as I am entering this field. It is important for me to work with sincerity, respect boundaries, and stay true to my values at all times. I believe in being clear about my role, my level of experience, and working within my competence while continuously learning and improving. Practicing integrity builds trust, and I see trust as the foundation of any meaningful coaching or training relationship.

12. How do you balance techniques and tools with presence, empathy, and self-awareness?

  1. I learn techniques as a strong foundation, using them to gain clarity and confidence—not as a rigid script.
  2. I practice these tools in real situations so they feel natural and authentic.
  3. I reflect after interactions to understand what worked and what needs improvement, building self-awareness.
  4. I focus on being fully present, as genuine connection matters more than perfect execution.
  5. I listen actively and observe emotions to respond thoughtfully.
  6. I use empathy to decide when and how to apply different techniques.
  7. I balance continuous learning with mindful practice and emotional awareness.
  8. I seek feedback to improve both my technical skills and personal impact.
  9. I adapt my approach based on people and situations rather than following a fixed formula.
  10. By growing skills and self-awareness together, I communicate with confidence, authenticity, and impact.

13. What kind of support, environment, or mentorship do you believe will help you grow sustainably in this profession?

14. If you look five years ahead, what kind of coach or trainer do you genuinely aspire to become—and why?
